Tesla Inks $4.3 Billion Battery Deal With LG Energy
Tesla has signed a deal for the supply of $4.3 billion worth of energy storage batteries with South Korean battery major LG Energy Solution, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed source. The Korean company disclosed the news in a securities filing with the Korea Exchange without naming the buyer. The contract’s term is from 2027 to 2030, but it could be extended by seven years.
